Privacy

Effective November 2, 2026

This policy explains what information this website handles, why, and the choices you have. It applies to theibyss.com and every page on it.

Who is responsible

Ibyss Technologies, LLC, a limited liability company organized in Alabama ("ibyss", "we", "us"), controls the information described here. For any privacy question or request, write to support@theibyss.com.

What we collect

Information sent by your browser

Like every website, our hosting provider receives technical information when your browser requests a page: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page, and the time of the request. It is used to deliver the site, keep it secure, and diagnose problems, and is kept in server logs for a limited period.

Your privacy choices

When you make a choice in our privacy banner, that choice is stored in your own browser (local storage) so we do not ask again on every visit. It expires after 6 months, and then we ask again.

Optional analytics

We do not run analytics unless you turn them on. If we add an analytics service in the future, it will load only after you consent, and this policy will name it.

Embedded video

Where a page includes video, the video platform does not load until you press play. Once you do, the platform receives information from your browser and may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.

What we do not do

We do not ask for your name or email, we do not run forms, we do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Who receives it

Our hosting provider processes technical information on our behalf. A video platform receives information only after you press play. We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of others. If ibyss is ever reorganized or sold, information may transfer with it under this policy.

International visitors

This site is operated from the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, your information is processed in the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for these transfers.

Your rights

European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland

You may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your information, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

California and other US states

Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia and other states with privacy laws, you may ask to know, access, correct or delete personal information, and opt out of its sale, sharing for targeted advertising, or profiling. We do not sell or share personal information. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.

Brazil, Canada and elsewhere

Residents of Brazil (LGPD), Canada (PIPEDA) and other jurisdictions have similar rights to access, correct and delete information and to withdraw consent. We honor them.

To make a request, write to support@theibyss.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it, and we respond within the time the applicable law allows. An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf with proof of authority.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, or under 16 where local law sets that age, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
